Value Landscape

I emailed Van for an estimate on a huge job at my house. He was very responsive and showed up on time. I needed my entire yard done:
cutting down bushes and trees, limbing trees, edging all sidewalks and walkways, debris cleanup, getting rid of the moss, shaping the bushes that were staying, pre-emergence and post-emergence spraying, defining flower beds, spreading 10 yards of bark, hauling away a huge pile of brush from a year ago, etc. It was a LOT of work. We walked the property and he listened to my ideas and offered suggestions that made sense. He got back to me with an estimate that I was really pleased with and worked within my schedule.

A few days before everything was to be completed,
Van came back and we walked the property again checking on the work already done and yet to be complete. He wanted to make sure I was pleased and happy with what his team had accomplished - and I was.

His crew is very organized, work cleanly and long hours, were very friendly and just really nice people! You need to call them. You won't regret it.

Van does clean, quick, precise work. He is an excellent communicator and has great suggestions. We trust him and feel lucky to have found him. He does EXCELLENT twice monthly lawn service for our home and our rental. We got 4 bids on the property and are so glad we went with him!

***I would add to this review that communication has not been prompt in the last few months. We are using a different company now, as a result.

Value Landscaping did three major projects for us over the past 4 months. We bought a house over the summer and the yard was in awful shape. Van was super helpful with getting a quote put together and offering suggestions. His team first did a major cleanup of overgrown ivy, weeds, and brush in our backyard. Then we brought them back to overhaul the front yard! In ground sprinkler system, new sod, fence/gate replacement, and reshaping the front garden. Last his team just finished building a 16x20 Trex deck for our backyard with a paver stone pathway. Great service and communication during all of our projects. So happy we found a landscaper that does QUALITY work!

Value Landscape completely changed the look of my yard for the better. Because of the great job they did, I am spending time in the yard every day. They put up a new cedar fence on one side of my back yard and it gave me a new level of privacy that I have never had at this house. They also removed some plants and shrubs that were in the way for the new fence. They also weeded out the beds and added beauty bark.
We made tentative plans for them to come back in a couple months to work on a pathway, add lattice to the top of the fence and install a cedar gate.
Van is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company.

Van was excellent in returning my calls quickly. They showed up when they said they would, worked all day very hard cleaning up my overgrown yard/landscape, and yet were very easy going and friendly. I wanted my yard to look great since I'm putting it on the market and now it does. Nice new bark throughout, trimmed hedges/bushes, lawn beautification, new plants.

The cost seemed fair, but with their responsiveness, quality work, and attitude, it was worth it.

Would highly recommend giving them a call.

Appt between 5:30 and 6:30, waited in the 90 degree weather after cleaning out rental home all day.. called at 6:45, his voice mail was full., they just lost a potential client with 3 rentals in UP.. great way to NOT run a business

Based on comments we called them 2x in 2days for an estimate, but we still have not received a call back. Disappointing.

We called Value Landscape to have our fence replaced due to storm damage. In regards to safety, this project needed to be finished quickly, within a week. The customer service we received was top notch, as the project was completed in within three days from the time we called. Van is friendly and knowledgeable of his trade. In addition, he has a lot patience as we explained what we needed accomplished and is flexible with scheduling. Within a prompt time frame, Van corresponded via text messages and phone calls as to the status of the project, this was most helpful. Our fence turned out beautiful! All old fence remains were taken away as well as vegetation trimmed back, above and beyond what we expected.

We were pleased with the conclusion of our fence project that we trusted Value Landscape with another task, our overgrown sloped yard. This project did not need the strict timeline like the fence, but Van still able to fit us in without delay even in the high demand spring season. We had numerous expectations and questions to ask. Van was understanding and professional in his responses. We were given plenty of time to mull over our landscaping choices, Van even emailed us a proposal to use as a reference. Many of our plants were lifeless and needed to be manually dug out. There is much dedication in his crew to accomplish this task. We were amazed at how in-sync the team worked and the speed in which our weeds and overgrowth disappeared. Van and his crew accomplished everything we asked for, plus some additional maintenance. We were very happy with the speed, the professionalism of the interaction, and the overall result. The Value Landscape team pays attention to detail, has reasonable pricing and knows just how to make a yard owner happy!

I contacted Van for an estimate on work I needed done at my house. He showed up on time and gave a very reasonable estimate. We needed a lot of work done in our front and back yard to make our house look clean for selling. He scheduled us in as soon as he could and did great work. He and his crew were on time and worked all day to get the landscaping looking perfect. We had a few broken sprinkler heads which he also replaced. One was a tough fix and he came back three times to make sure he got it working right. We were very impressed with the work of he and his crew.
